My practice is limited to Gastroenterology and Hepatology (Liver Disease). This includes care related to:
- Gastroesophageal reflux (heartburn)
- Abdominal pain
- Nausea and vomiting
- Trouble swallowing
- Difficulties with bowel habits, such as constipation and diarrhea
- Gastrointestinal bleeding
- Colon cancer prevention
- Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C
- Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
- Abnormal weight loss
Diagnosis and management of these conditions may include endoscopic procedures, such as esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) or colonoscopy to see the inside of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and colon, obtain samples (biopsies) and remove growths such as polyps which can lead to cancer.
